Different RFID tamper proof tag types

Xminnov is one stop service of RFID security solution include research and development, production, personalized services, hardware and software development etc.

Business cover all kinds of RFID tags, RFID readers and application management system, especially our patent products-RFID destructive non-transferable anti-tamper electronic tag, which have different tag types, RFID anti-counterfeiting electronic tag, RFID fragile anti-transfer electronic tag etc, which are widely used for commodity traceability, security identification, vehicle inspection, vehicle insurance management, Electronic toll collection, E-parking, item sealing and ticket management etc.

There are several types of RFID tamper-proof tags available in the market. Some of the common types are:

1. Active RFID tags:

These tags have a battery inside them and can transmit signals over long distances. They are used in applications where real-time tracking is required.

2. Passive RFID tags:

These tags do not have a battery and rely on the energy from the RFID reader to power them. They are used in applications where the tag needs to be small and lightweight.

3. Semi-passive RFID tags:

These tags have a battery to power the tag's circuitry, but rely on the RFID reader to provide the energy needed to transmit data. They are used in applications where longer read ranges are required.

4. UHF RFID tags:

These tags operate at ultra-high frequencies and have a longer read range than other types of RFID tags. They are used in applications where the tag needs to be read from a distance.

5. NFC tags:

These tags operate at near-field communication frequencies and have a short read range. They are used in applications where the tag needs to be read from a close distance.

6. Tamper-evident RFID tags:

These tags have a mechanism that makes it evident if the tag has been tampered with. They are used in applications where the integrity of the tag needs to be maintained.
