The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to thoroughly implement the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council to strengthen the construction of digital government, take informatization as an important starting point for the development of animal husbandry and veterinary work, give full play to the supporting role of "Internet +" in the traceability supervision of the whole chain of live pigs, and strengthen traceability. Collect, share and apply basic data, and explore the establishment of a full-chain informatization supervision model for animal quarantine that combines the number of immunized livestock and poultry with the number of quarantine declarations, the combination of quarantine at the origin and transportation supervision, and the combination of certificate issuance at the place of departure and feedback at the destination.

The meeting requested that the relevant units of the traceability system at all levels should fully recognize the important role of ear tags as livestock "identity cards", fully implement the newly revised "Animal Epidemic Prevention Law" on the management and use of livestock and poultry identification requirements, and improve the performance of traceability software.
