On November 9, the Traffic Police Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau set up nearly 100 rectification points in the city to carry out a comprehensive rectification action for electric bicycles. During the operation, Shenzhen traffic police took the electric bicycle off-site law enforcement for the first time.

In order to enhance the road traffic safety awareness of drivers and the public, Shenzhen traffic police promotes good traffic safety behaviors of "wearing two nos", that is, "wearing helmets, not running lights, and not going backwards." In this operation, the Shenzhen traffic police adopted three methods for off-site law enforcement: Auxiliary iron cavalry used police to shoot videos of illegal electric bicycles, asked about the party concerned on the spot, passed facial recognition checks, and finally remotely reviewed by the back-end police ; The RFID chip on the number plate senses and automatically captures the information to identify the illegal electric bicycle information, and is punished after the background review; the illegal behavior is recorded through the high-definition lens, and the background review is penalized.

According to statistics, as of press time, Shenzhen traffic police seized a total of 275 unlicensed electric bicycles on the spot and 1,871 off-site law enforcement, including 1672 remote law enforcement, 22 video captures, and 177 electronic police captures.
