4. Data Storage: NFC tags can store a range of information, such as text, URLs, contact details, or commands. The storage capacity of NFC tags varies, but common tag types can store a few kilobytes of data.

5. Tag Detection: When an NFC-enabled device is brought close to an NFC tag, the device's NFC antenna generates a small electromagnetic field. This field powers the NFC tag, allowing it to transmit data back to the device.

6. Data Exchange: Once the NFC tag is powered, it sends its stored data back to the NFC-enabled device through the wireless link. The device then interprets the received data and takes appropriate actions based on the content of the NFC tag.

7. Actions and Applications: The data stored on NFC tags can trigger various actions on the NFC-enabled device. For example, scanning an NFC tag embedded in a business card can automatically save the contact information, or tapping an NFC tag on a payment terminal can initiate a payment transaction. NFC tags can also be used to automate settings on smartphones, launch apps, connect to Wi-Fi networks, or control smart home devices.

8. NFC Compatibility: NFC tags and devices need to be compatible with each other to establish communication. Most modern smartphones, tablets, and other NFC-enabled devices are compatible with NFC tags, allowing for seamless interaction between the devices and the tags.
